Commiserations go to Wendy and Zoe Cook, both of whom are still involved with the Club, they lost their 1980’s records to Gemma and Fiona.

Congratulations also go to Naomi, Stephen, Stuart and Harry Edwards and Eva Waddup. All five won every Club Championship race that they were eligible to enter and scored maximum points. Well done to you all!

A big thank you as usual, to the numerous officials and helpers who gave up their time to ensure that all of these events were successful and professionally run under ASA rules. Particular thanks go to Carolyn Beckley for organising officials, Jane Willis for doing the announcing and our President Maureen Hine for presenting the medals and pennants.

The first Club Championships of 2004 will be held on Sunday 7th March.  Provisional dates for the other events are 20th June and 13th November, the 200m swim is due to be held on Sunday 9th May.

Swimmers - Please try to enter as many events as possible, it’s good practice for galas against other clubs.

Parents - Please support the club as well as your children by training to become a race official or offering to help at the events (speak to Howard or David or a committee member if you’d like more information ).
