There are very few occasions when all club members – swimmers and/or parents – are in the same place at the same time. Sunday is the main day for swimming when most people are at Bushey Grove at some point - but even then the sessions are spread over a 4½ hour period. The rest of the swimming sessions take up 7 hours of pool time across almost the whole week. That makes it a challenge to communicate with club members and make sure everyone knows that is going on. Over the last 12 months the committee have used a number of methods for this:

From the calendar of events published in the termly newsletter to the guides helping swimmers get the most out of club championships, more material has been printed than ever before. This has the aim of keeping all members informed about our club and supporting club social events, swimming competitions and other activities. Copies of printed material are made available on the website as well so you need never miss an edition.

The 3-year plan explains how communication is vital in ensuring that the club achieves its vision. We can only progress as a club with your help, support and active participation – so please help us communicate with you by taking a look at the front desk every Sunday, reading the newsletters/leaflets and accessing the website regularly.
