Club Championships Records:
As usual we held three Club Championships during the year. Points are awarded for each event and the overall age group winner for the boys and for the girls respectively is presented with the age group award. However special mention goes to those swimmers who on the night of the club champs swim the fastest time recorded at the club championships for that event.
We had several championship records broken this year. The full list of new club championship records is now being shown. We have certificates to mark these achievements to present to the swimmers concerned.

Tony Amos Cup:
Since 2002 Tony Amos was very much associated with the non-swimming end of the pool, this award has been based around the younger swimmers where they are either ‘swimmer of the year’ or ‘most promising young swimmer’. This swimmer only joined us 2 years ago, but in that short time has made fantastic progress. With their desire to improve and always ask at the end of the training what they could work on to improve for next time. One of his greatest strengths is his aerobic capacity. He qualified for his first counties this year.
This year’s Tony Amos award goes to:
Barney O'Donnell
