Membership Report

2014 has been a great year for the club. The energy and enthusiasm provided by the committee and all members of the club combined with higher profile local marketing have contributed to a substantial increase in membership this year.

At BASC we have a great reputation for improving swimmers ability and technique which is due to the time, effort and commitment of all our volunteer teachers. This provides a great foundation for all our swimmers.

Since taking over the membership secretarial role in March this year the team have conducted over 67 assessments with 52 new members joining the club. Taking account of those who have left, I am pleased to report there has been a substantial increase in membership from 128 at the start of the year to 154 at present. This is a great achievement for all concerned.
